In class: Today we went over certain parts of last night's homework on the board and solidified our understanding of how to rewrite exponential functions with different bases. We also learned about natural log and the significance of e as a number and as a base in an exponential function. When e to the power of x is graphed, it has the slope of 1 at the point where it meets the line y=x.

Homework: A worksheet with more compounding interest and exponential function practice.

Essential Questions: How do we express exponential function in equivalent forms with different bases? How do we use exponential functions to solve problems about compounding interest?

Reminders: There will be a test on this material sometime next week!
