Thursday  February 28th and Friday the 29th:
In Class: We went over examples of solving cosine and sine inverse functions. We learned that the primary solution is the number given by the calculator because it is the solution on the inverse function. Then we looked at all solutions on [0, 2pi]. We learned it was helpful to draw the graph and then locate the solutions on there. Finally, we learned how to find all solutions (adding the period*n to the primary and secondary solutions). During class we talked about course selections as well.
Homework: Thursday: gold packet p.583 #12, p.585 #3. And the writing assignment was due on Friday.
Friday: Finish the first three problems of the practice problems packet we were given.
